Custom domain for your help center

Run your help center and customer portal on your own subdomain — e.g. support.yourcompany.com — instead of a shared address.

Add the domain

In Settings → Domains, enter your desired hostname. AnswerRidge gives you a CNAME target to add at your DNS provider.

Point DNS

Type:  CNAME
Name:  support           (i.e. support.yourcompany.com)
Value: <the CNAME target shown in Settings → Domains>

Verify & provision SSL

Click Verify. Once DNS resolves, AnswerRidge provisions an SSL certificate automatically. When status shows Active, your help center is live on your domain with HTTPS.

DNS and SSL can take from a few minutes up to an hour. The status panel updates as each step completes.
